They believed it had ended; the turmoil, the havoc which an alternate universe's most frightful incarnation had wreaked upon the Earth. Upon the timestream. The Observers, ominous beings whom watch from the crowd, sought the employment of one ghoul to put an end to this before it began. Clockwork. He had seen it from the start, through its several possible endings. A battle such as this, life possibly meeting its end, caused this ghoul to start a scribe marking the events leading toward the war's culmination. It has been, however, several months, years in the time of the Ghost Zone, that anyone has heard from the Timekeeper. The gears have recently stopped moving, rusted to a point at which they cannot operate.

What has occured next was foretold in the past, left as a warning in a small envelope inside the folded binding of a massive, leather-bound journal. Dan Phantom, free from the confines of the Fenton Thermos, defeated Clockwork in a less-than-epic battle. What came next, however, was not foretold. Nor was it expected, for Dan Phantom absorbed the ecto-soul, Phantom now controlled time for his own. It was time, the final battle has came. Though, unexpected by Vlad, Danny, by the Observers, due to Dan Phantom's existence outside of time. The war shall be brought to them. It will merely take a severe plot. A plan which will bring the downfall of Danny, of existence. To Dan Phantom, there is nothing but pain. Atleast, the pain of others. Humans are his toys; they will be played with. Until they have broken; that's when he shall move to another toybox, namely... The Ghost Zone.
